Single Sign-On for 10,000 Health Workers
Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is the largest NHS Trust in the UK including 5 London Hospitals, a university medical faculty and approximately 10,000 staff.
Klarient initially developed a business case for a smartcard based SSO solution and a Context Management solution (a portal improving the efficiency of user access to patient data distributed over multiple systems). The business case demonstrated significant user efficiency savings as well as clinical and information risk reduction.
Klarient led the procurement process (using the OJEU Competitive Dialogue) for the 10,000 user SSO solution and successfully managed the implementation and initial phase of the rollout.
